Postal Matches: Enter (May) Scores

Here is where you can enter your scores from the various matches (for rules on these matches go to the top of the rimfire page to the thread titled “Rules for Matches”.).

And just for a bit of "background info": Unlike other postal matches where you have to mail the target to get it scored this is simpily based on the honour system and the shooter scores it. After this you simply post your results in this thread.

To enter this month's scores you need to shoot the target(s) in the month of May.

Just a couple of “guidelines” to follow and you should be fine.

Please state the:

Which match you shot
Your score
Your screen name (i.e. cz452shooter)
Gun used
Scope used (or if it was open sights just state open sights)
Ammunition used

Here would be an example:

50 yard unlimited,

231-2x, cz452shooter,
Winchester 52B, Weaver T36
Eley club extra

If you have shot a particular match more than once please just enter your best score.

I shot a 25 yard fun match score this morning

I got:

Valmet Finnish lion, peep sights
Eley practice ammo.

I'll get some in by the end of the month... but I'm going to be away for a couple weeks, so I'll likely squeek by at the end of the month...

Still waiting on rings... then I'll be able to post some unlimited match results

I'll post.. still tweaking things. Lightened the trigger pull on the weekend so we'll see how that works this weekend.

I shot a couple 100 yard unlimited scores with my 10/22 and 52 this morning... In about 20kmh - 30khm winds. Brutal .

I shot my 52 first - It was windier then but I was having a lot of trouble reading the wind - all over the place

- Worst by far I have ever done with this gun on one target (by about 20 points )

Hmmm, you know things aint going to great when a $500 .22 out shoots a $2500 .22 .

Tried the new set up, had a descent outing and would have posted a nice score save for 3 fliers....

lightened trigger, re-set the scope (problem with eye relief).

I have been doing as much shooting as I can lately to train for the BCRA Service Matchs coming up, and had to bear down hard to get this score. I shot a sweet 100 yd. freehand group of 5 1/4 inches. Not bad with 10 mph wind at 5 o'clock that strung out my group horizontally.

Was a bit tricky today... wind was strong enough to stand flags up completely, then would just die... Needed a bunch of sighters... would get things on target, then the wind would change!
