Just finished putting a gun for sale on EE. I created a document in Word, copy and pasted all the IMG codes from Photo bucket and then composed the add. Finally, copy and pasted the whole thing into EE and Voila!!!!
I was then able to do the same thing in 2 other forums using the same file..
I think I invented this but there will surely be some spoil sport who says he has been doing this all along. For those of you who have trouble placing adds with photos, it is great.

Congrats....I have tried to post pics several times with no success.
Just can't seem to get the hang of it.
Trouble is, I have about 70 long guns to show off....

Kevan, don't feel bad. I sure had lots of trouble, and the common saying of, "Just download them on PhotoBucket," just is not good enough.
If you want help, PM me.

What you are talking about is the same thing I do to post an ad in the EE. BUT you added the extra step of putting it all in Microsoft Word first. I do it on the box provided on the web site. The problem most everyone has is getting it from photobucket to CGN.

Sorry to be a spoilsport. :p

It is definately worth the effort to learn how to post pics in the EE. Good pics will give the buyer a better description of the item in question, offer credibility to you as a seller and save you tons of PMs down the road filled with silly questions.

I like to take pics outside in indirect light to avoid the glare from the flash. Take lots of pics from all sides of the item and give lots of detail shots.

Here's a recent ad I posted on the EE. This format does work and is far better than the type offered by the lazy seller who takes one blury pic from far off with the gun coated in glare from the flash.

I learned from you and Bartel, take pictures outside in natural light and add lots of pics to your ad.
