So I was going through some parts and realized that I had this auxilliary laser sight mount lying around. Turns out it fits on the barrel of the Mosin just forward of the rear iron sight (and the chamber) and might hold a small red dot sight....but would it be stable enough? Accuracy issues? The rifle is sporterized so it would be easy to make it clear the stock ok but how ridiculous an idea is this?? This is not my what the mount was intended for so I don't plan on doing it, but I am very curious to see what others think.
hahaha heyy why not!? I'd love to see how this goes, you may have to do some adjusting on your stock for this to fit, but this seems like it might work.. hmm unless it starts shifting/spinning around the barrel because 7.62x54r is a big round, try it out
