I can not find shotshell powder in Brandon my, and would like to load for that, and was wondering; who is best to order powder from on line, mailed in. What shipping considerations, how is it shipped?
I have been told it can’t go Canada post, but that was just a guy at a gun shop, I have no experience.
Ones I might want; unique, red dot, clays, tightwad,
Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Canada Post's policies on dangerous goods are not very transparent. In effect their shipping guide says that if you are a contract commercial customer and you want to ship DG, call them and they will see if they can handle it.

In the end, I believe there are at least a couple of businesses in Canada that have gone through the steps and are now shipping powder Canada Post. But it is not something that can be done casually even by big businesses, and not at all by individuals or SFSB clients.

Courier's are at work transporting powder, primers & cartridges. I got a 1kg jug of powder from Tesro last week. I'd have to look but I think it was a $25+tax delivery charge.

MacDonalds had IMR Green on the shelf a few days ago, if you want to drive to Portage. But just a guess that Green works in shotshells

Jesse... Higgenson Powders currently lists IMR red, green, and blue in stock. These are a rough equivalent to Alliant red dot, green dot,and blue dot . They will ship UPS if you have a street address , and the saving of Man. sales tax covers a lot of the shipping (depending on how much you buy of course). Hope this helps a bit....catnip

my shooting friends picked up about 6 pounds of dominion powder from can ammo a few months ago. came in about a week and delivery fee was around 25$
