Powder Equivalent Chart

The ADI chart is the one that to me stands above all others. Notice to the uninitiated . . . use this or similar charts as a guideline only, and not as a definitive means to substitute powder charges in any given cartridge, or the experience you gain could be memorable. There's nothing quite like having tiny pieces of carbon and metal removed from your eyeball by a guy armed with a bright light, a magnifying glass, and tweezers.

That chart is for suitability of purpose, not necessarily for them being identical. Some are identical and others are not. There are some stick and ball powders in the same classes.

Thanks for the link, it's a lot like the other charts of the kind I've found. And unfortunately, it's a little out of date too. Lil'gun, CFE223 and CFE Pistol from Hodgdon don't show for example. HS-7 is discontinued, I think? Same issue with VV 3N38 not showing.

It's still a good resource, taken in combination with the other charts. Thanks!
