Would anyone have experience in reloading both of these cartridges and give me info on which powders work well for both. The main purpose of these rifles will be for deer hunting so I’m looking at bullets in the range of 120 gr to 140 gr. I will be starting load development and would like to keep my powder stock down to a minimum as for choice but more of the same powder. Thanks for any info...:D

Hi, I have a Tikka in .260 and shoot mostly 140's. My goto powder as well as a number of guys I know is H4350. I also had good luck with RL-19, and H4831. With a 120gr bullets RL-15 was good too. The bullets I was using were 140gr Bergers, 140gr A-max and 120 TTSX.
Have fun.

Have both,

Best: R17, H4350

Good: R19, R22, IMR 4831, AA3100

Bad: None yet, can't get the things to shoot squirrelly

Also tried VV N-560. Very accurate, however using book loads the velocity was 100-150fps slower than then R17, 4350's range.

Most loads were with Hornady 140grn SST
