powder for 338

ok you,s all got me going nutz here on reloading
now i need some help to choose a powder
will be loading for a 338 winchester mag,using 250 grain bullet,so can anybody share there recipe

I use H4831sc, with 69.2grs pushing a 250gr bullet. This is not overly fast, but it is accurate and effective.

My favorite .338 load was 75 gr of Norma MRP, WW cases, CCI 250 primer, and a 250 gr. Nosler Partition. I've got about half a pound of MRP left, but I don't think that they've made it for years now. I also found that Reloader 22 works good with 250 gr. bullets, giving good velocity and accuracy.

after a lot digging to come up with a powder for different cartridges.... ive noticed the 4350 is one of the most common ......any one out there use it for there different guns?

In my 338 Win, my load is 69gr of IMR4350 with a Feleral 215. Using 250gr Nosler Partitions or Sierra GK. I hope this helps you out, enjoy.

Back when I had a 338WM, H4831 was very good to me, and quite accurate in my Browning Stainless Stalker.

around 69 to 70grs of IMR4350 for 250gr bullets works well for me.

74 grains of IMR 7828 under a 250 grain Silvertip and a Federal mag primer, lotsa boom and very good accuracy. :shock:
