Powder for 375 H&H

why do you 'really like to use compressed loads,' anyway? Go with what produces the best results, and if it's compressed then so be it. Choosing a powder simply because it produces compressed loads seems a little silly to me. I'd start in the Varget/4064 burn rate and go from there

I have had great results with reloder 15 in the 260,270 weight range,Imr 4350 for the 300 grain bullets worked well also.rl-15 gave the best velocity for the 260's,over w-760,imr-4350 and imr-4831

I used WW760 and IMR4350 for heavier bullets. The 760 is nicer to use as it's abll powder. IMR3031 for the lighter 235s.

I use H1000 for my 300mag, 4831 for my 30.06 and 270 all compressed loads. They are all very accurate and consistent, coincedence maybe but it works well for me.

if you like compressed loads go with H4350. you probably wont run into pressure problems with that powder in the H&H either, it just wont hold enough of it. Ive always used Varget, RL15, & IMR 4064 when loaded the 375.
