Does anyone have any ideas on how to get a Dillon Powder measure to meter stick powders better? I have polished the inside of the measure up but it seems to be dropping powder at weird amounts.

There isn't a powder measure on this planet that will drop long grain extruded powder to under +/- 0.2gr accuracy.

Some of the finer grain powders like Benchmark, can be metered quite well. Usually to 1 or 2 tenths either way.

Depending on your application, that could be accurate enough.

There is a "Dillon precision powder baffle" you can buy for USD$7 from UniqueTek. Looks like this:

I bought one. Haven't installed it. Talked to a guy at UniqueTek about it. In theory, it will reduce the difference in dropped mass you might see between when your hopper is 1/4 full compared to 3/4 full, for example. I figured it was a cheap experiment but I haven't gotten around to installing it yet but there are some reviews around the net.
