Hello all, just wondering if anyone loads with Winchester stabal 6.5.. I just bought a savage 16 in 300wsm and I’m throwing together some test loads and would love some feedback. I’ll be using hornady 165gr sst bullets and my uncle/reload guru usually uses good old h4350 but we’re looking to test some other stuff out. And I’m out would be great!

I tried it in my 6.5cm. I found it burned dirty until you got up towards the max charge. I couldn’t get an accurate load with it so I went back to H4350.

I made up a load with my 270 with it, I have not shot it much as it’s only a hunting rifle, but seems ok. I have yet to rest my load out to 500 yards but got a .372” three shot group at 100 meters with it during tuning. The OCW and seating depth testing seamed normal. I switched from RL 22 to Stabal as I was tired of compressing the RL22.
