I'm brand new to reloading, and I know you're not supposed to keep the powder where there could be direct sunlight, but what about indirect? I have a big, bright North facing window where I have my bench set up, but the sun can never directly shine in here. I can't imagine it will actually affect the powder somehow through the black plastic container but I want to be sure there not some hidden danger I'm unaware of. Is the sunlight caution only for heat concerns or do you actually have to keep it some place dark?

As far as I'm aware you should avoid direct sunlight on the containers to avoid temperature changes. The UV light can't actually get inside sealed contained to break down the powder chemically. If they don't get hot, I wouldn't worry about it.
