The first thrower I bought is a Lee Perfect Powder measure. It works well with extruded powders but sucks on ball & flattened ball powders because the powder always leaks and binds the mechanism.
A while ago I purchased a bulk load of reloading equipment & components. Among this load was an old Lyman Ideal (Orange) powder measure. It works absolutely fantastic with the ball & very short grained powders, (no leakage) although I haven't tried it with extruded. Sometime the stuff made over 50 yrs ago is still the best. Just wanted to share. Tks in adv.

I have no trouble with my two Uniflows. One is old ish, and one is older. I keep one for pistol and one for rifle so I don't have to adjust so much. Cuts the RL22 and H4350 good, both handle the H110, and CFE pistol well too.

The Lyman is great. I've got 3 and haven't used a measure Lee in quite a while. To the point I'm not sure if I have 2 or 3 of them.
The favorite at the moment is a Harrell's Schuetzen / Pistol Measure. Not sure I'd be able to swallow the price for a new one but as a $40 gun show find it's been one of my best deals to date. Works really well with any of the fine powders and even big flakes as long as it's over a certain volume. Haven't tried it on stick powder yet.
