RL powders aren't being produced for the public much at this time. I don't see much stateside either, though as always they get more than us. It's a market thing. - dan

Someone on the Nosler forum posted about Alliant powders industry memo that was released a number of weeks ago.
They have lost access to their primary nitrocellulose provider and can not produce enough for the North American markets. Until this changes
all current production is dedicated to Europe based contracts.
The U.S. simply had a bigger stockpile of it. But stocks are rapidly diminishing there now.
As much as I like there products, I have abandoned load developments with powders manufactured outside N.Am. due to current geopolitics.
It sucks but it's not changing anytime soon.

Reloader powder has been scarce for a while now, RL26 has been like ferry dust and according to alliant any of their powder will not be available for commercial sale in the near future, start looking for alternatives now, when your supply runs out your pretty much pooched

A little off topic, but I noticed powder at the Yorkton CT at $119.00 for a little jar. My goodness.

One club member said get gets up at 6 am and scours the net for powder, primers ect. Must he nice to be retired lol, its a pain and I just gave up shotshell reloading , now scour the net for the best prices on 410 and 16 when there available. Other wise those guns just sit and wait. Sad state of affairs for sure.

I see the current prices of powders I use and I swear. Been looking at powders that are cheaper and available. I am probably good for two years but eventually I will have to buy some. Found some H-335 which will likely be used in my Garands. Usual stuff is a $100. H-335 cost $100 for 2 lbs off of GP.

I'm saving my RL22 and RL26 for my hunting rifles, haven't seen any advertised for sale in 2+ years and doubt we'll see any until after the war in Europe is resolved.
In the meantime you may want to consider switching to VV powder.

All the Alliant powders have been pretty much non existent for a while now
I’ve been able to find a bit here and there (old stock)
Hopefully they start making some soon as a lot of my reloads use Alliant powder

No date given when Alliant powders will be available again. 2400 is my main powder for cast rifle loads. A couple lbs left but might last a year. Starting to worry. I may have to use some of my other powders. When you have good loads worked out and you have to start over well it’s a pain.

Most Reloader products have been scarce for a few yrs now... I was using three for fantastic loads and had to find new loads ... I was able to do so .... and have enough 15 + 17 to last me for those hunting rifles.

Check out Vihtavuori powders and see which ones are close to the Reloader ones ... easy to switch over and find your niche'
