Power Custom Hammer & Sear for 10/22 vs. Volquartsen

Any noticeable difference between the PC competition hammer and sear vs. the Volquartsen? They look to be about the same price and to give similar trigger pull weights.

Thoughts, opinions? Want to upgrade some parts on my 10/22 but keep the original look.

I've heard the pc doesn't work as well as the vq in the new plastic trigger group but I found it reduced pull weight to around 3-4 pounds. Not sure about vq but I figured I'd give my two cents.

No experience with either, but where did you find the power custom parts for sale? I have never heard anything bad about the volquartsen. I think I will be looking for Kidd trigger parts for my next build. I put a Kidd bolt in my current build and am blown away by the difference it made. Before installing the Kidd bolt I was having feeding issues with both my BC 25 round mags (first 5 or so would not feed) I was also getting 3-4 stovepipes in 25 rounds. Put in the Kidd bolt and extended charging handle with medium spring and wrapped off 200 rounds without a single problem, all with federal bulk. Accuracy was ok before and better now.

Brownells. Not sure if they are exportable, haven't even checked yet. On a side note Anyone know how to date a 10/22 by serial?

Just my 2 cents but i prefer power custom, i ended up selling my vq trigger parts because the stock parts performed better. later when i swapped to pc parts they were better than the stock. these parts were all installed in the older metal housings.
