I'm getting into reloading 6.5 Creedmoor and 308, and looking for some recommendations on a powered case trimmer/prep centre.

I'm currently using an RCBS collect style trimmer and a Hornady case prep trio. Both work, but I find the trimming process to be slow and the adjustments are not as precise as I'd like. I've been looking at the Frankford Arsenal trimmer/prep centre as a way to combine both tasks and speed up the process.

Does anyone have any experience with the Frankford tool? Or would you recommend an alternative? I have a small reloading bench, so I'm looking for something that's fairly space efficient.

Thanks in advance.

I’ve owned the Frankford unit, it’s not small but worked well enough.

I did end up splurging and ordered the Giraud trimmer. It’s a bit smaller but if you reload multiple calibres, after buying the trimmer heads, it’s worth every penny.

Thanks for the responses. The Giraud is more a stretch than I can really justify at this point. What were your thoughts on the Frankford trim consistency and quality?

For trimming I would recommend “the worlds finest trimmer”
I have a bunch in .223, .308 and .338 Lapua. By far the fastest and easiest way to trim: all you need is a drill and the trimmer. I can trim a hundred .223 in just over 12 minutes. Then a quick debur and you are set.
Google them and you’ll be impressed!

Get the Frankford Arsenal trimmer and case prep center. You won't regret it. Reasonably priced at about $260.00 and you can do 4 operations on it. It is fairly easy to adjust and doesn't require shell holders.

Thanks for all the responses. I think I'll be going with the Frankford. For those who've been watching longer, does the Frankford ever go on sale? Everywhere I've looked seems to be about $270, but figured I'd check in case there is a history of sales/drops.

My Frankford wasn't on sale if I remember correctly, I get Cabela's gift cards at xmas every year and think that was what I used. No regrets. Bit of a wait for gift cards. :)
