I have a brand new H&K P30LS V1 LEM in 9 mm.

Could you advise on some powerful ammo to break it in? (something that can be bought in Canada.)

Thanks

Why would you need "Powerful" ammo? Imo there is no such thing as pistol break in for modern pistol designs; this ain't a 1911. Load some mags and shoot :) 9mm 124gr should do the job...

+1. My H&K was perfect right out of the box. What the OP is saying is not needed. Take er down, lube it and shoot it. Nothing to break in.

The recoil spring on my P30L was pretty strong and it took a couple of range trips to get it to eject to the side instead of coming back at me. I used 124 grain factory ammo and it runs fine now. This condition is quite common if you check the H&K forums the solution is to just get some range time in.
I don't know if it's a German thing or just that the "flat" spings are stronger by design but I found my PPQ took some time to "break in" as well.
