PPK ####

My Father has an original PPK from overseas, Love that gun.

I was able to field-strip it when I 8 :D

It's gonna make me really sad when it gets turned over to the gov't

Stupid laws :(

pageophile,

If the pistol was manufactured prior to 1946, your father can give it to you... You'll then have a 12(7) added to your license.

If it's a more recent model, he (or whomever will be handling his sucession) can sell it... There are no go reason for firearms to be turned in for destruction!!!

Manufactured too late :(

I'm trying to convince him to sell as he's not all that active in shooting anymore but he won't hear any of it.

The whole law really makes no sense to me as restricted pistols are tracked and the users need to be licensed. Why does an inch or two make that much difference.

Silly laws. . .
