I will be heading from Kamloops on Sept 1st after work and continuing to Nokomis the following day.

I'm going to spank prairieguy with my .223 Sportco. It'll teach him a lesson for deafening me at the Manitoba Provincials!
 
Loaded up 250 .223 rounds to add to the 3-400 I have laying around from last year and year before :)

Working on a load for the 22-250 as well but I think the barrel is pooched, had approx 1500 rounds down it when it was on the original XR-100 action and a few hundred more since it got put into the 600 action.

How long does it take to get from Nokomis/Saskatoon to Homestead driving like a normal person.

I already have $130 photo speeding ticket from the lazy cops in Calgary....seriously....get out of the van and burn off some of those donuts by actually doing some work.
 
I plan on the Annie 54, a 10/22(500 rnds), my 22MR (22BR reamer run in .3" deeper) and a few 50 pks for it (just check'd, have to make a few more) and a slingshot with nuts and steel ball. Might even pull out one of the FOs for a really far one :)

I will be doing so.

I never show to a match with "Just enough" rounds.

I am loading for AB as well so will have 250ish for each caliber.

122 for your match would be "Just Enough", AB will be 85 rounds needed so I will have an extra 50 or so for sighting, team training, etc....

Bringing 2 match guns so will have ample supplies.
 
Always planning in advance: what is the lodging scenario look like for this one? Also, what is the entry fee? If there is somewhere I should be looking for this info, feel free to point in the general direction.

Not hard to find Main Street either......it's the street that runs right by all 2 stores in Nokomis. Can't remember if it was paved though.... :D


I am camping at the range so bring your tent and your space blanket again, or find a couch, cot in the clubhouse (after I pick one out of course) LOL

You could always crash in the box of my truck if the clubhouse doesn't suit your fancy and I'm not in it.
 
Been trying to think of some witty excuse all day. But you can't outwit plain dumb. Just setting the stage for when I turn my wind dials the wrong way.

The space blanket will be returning!
 
Gerry W. and I should will be rolling in at about 6:30 or so. We're staying in Watrous at the Last Mountain Inn. The penthouse suite at the Four Seasons Nokomis was booked. I heard Watrous has better dancing girls too.
