I realize 2020 may have been a mess. But Borden I feel like fell.apart 5 years ago or so when the ranges were under repair. There's only been 1-2 per year since. Mind you I stopped paying attention for a bit so maybe they have been back? Any info for 2021? Who is running them?

I recently moved to like 30 mins from Borden so really hoping they get these going monthly like they used too. Thanks

Between the OIC and COVID-19, the business has been crushed. Revenues are zeroed completely and I’m digging for all the silver linings I can find.

Other folks and businesses have it way worse than me so I spend much mental energy planning training for my Weekly Junior Program at my home gun club. I’ve been teaching local club safety courses as well as ATT classes. Some of the most joy I’m finding is in the delivery of fundamental pistol clinics.

Any activity planned on Base Ranges is axed and out of our control so I’m keeping busy locally.

F U C K principles come to mind. Forgiveness and Love and Compassion and Kindness come to play for mind control.....

Peace Be To Journey!

Based on the above principal, I will proceed to tell my wife F U C K you! Lets hope my wife for the last 38 years don't kick me out by night fall.

I'll tell you bravo and mons aren't under construction, that I know. As for why ORA isn't allowed to book that's because the army is still in one of its more restrictive COVID force protection policies I'd guess. Once those are lifted ORA will likely be able to book again. Patience will be the key emphasis here.

It was reported that Borden was accepting applications for dates, but I do not know if this is happening.
ORA has booked range time at Milcun, a privately owned facility. See the schedule at w ww.osacanada.ca.

There is a PR match scheduled for Aug. 6, 2022.

Call me cynical, but I'll be mighty surprised if we'll get any range time this year on any DND ranges. I'm surely not counting on it. For the first time in 35+ years, I have not renewed my annual ORA membership for that reason.

ORA booked these dates at Milcun:
May 6,7,14; June 11,25; July 9; Aug 5; Sept 17,18; Sept 24.
Not DND ranges, but DND type range with concrete butts, etc. back to 600m.

I'm fully aware Tiriaq of these dates and I have shot at Milcun as well. For me, to drive 6hrs + for a day of shooting is just a bit too much. Also, there's no CQB/Service rifle scheduled (if that's even an option after banning most semi-auto firearms). So, altogether, I'd just as soon wait until next year and see what's going to happen then.

SR Practice is June5; SR Championship is Sept. 3&4.

These matches are not CQB. An autoloading rifle is not required.

Not sure why DND ranges in Ontario are a problem. The PRA's are shooting in Quebec and did so last year as well even with Covid. NBRA is shooting in Gagetown this May long weekend.
