practical/tactical non restrcted in ontario

is there such a thing as non restricted, practical or tactical shooting anywhere in ontario? my father and i are looking into getting into the competitive side of the sport but want to avoid the hassles/investments in restricted firearms. he also wants to get into cowboy action, but as far as i know that all includes restricted arms. i have tried looking at the dominion of canada i heard they had something like that going on, but their website is very vague when it comes to types of classes at their events.

i have put on action shotgun shoots a few times,with that idea in mind.
EESA does the same thing.
you could allso shoot any of the carbine matches with any long gun .
I have done it with a winchester in 45 long colt and a pump gun.

Tennex shot idpa with a webley...that's even less restrictive than non restricted!

and which league has the carbine matches?
