I recently discovered a a line of courses put on by Dale Cambell of the parctical marksmanship centre based out of Calgary. I am surprised to not see any posts here in regards to these courses.
I have always been a avid hunter and fairly confident in my rifle skills, untill I attended Mr. Cambells introductory practical marksmanship course.
I didn't take me long to realize I had ALOT to learn. By the end of day two I was ringing steel at 500 yards with a sporting rifle! This was something I never thought possible! After completion of practical marksmanship I was eligable to take the "Tactical course" (popular with law enforcment etc) In this course a whole new world of precision shooting opened up and I got the bug. It seems now(according to my girlfriend) I spend all my time reloading and at the range.

I am thankful to have a school like this in Calgary and would HIGHLY recommend everyone with a boltgun and scope to attend.
I realized I could have the best rifle in the world and it would not do me any good without the skills to use it.

Has any one here attended Dales courses?

Dale is a first class fellow. I have spoken with him on many occasions and he knows his stuff.

It is indeed unfortunate that more people do not seek out the services of him before they go spending huge sums of money on their hobby, because he will show you how to do it and what to do it with.

I have had the fortune to meet and speak with many of his past participants, and each one descibes his courses with tremendous enthusiasm. I would love to come out and audit one of his sessions!
