What do people use for practice ammo?

12 gauge?
9mm?
.223?

exclude any of the dirtier stuff unless you really feel it is worth using.

Thanks everyone!

M

Cast my own shotgun slugs for 12gauge, turn bird shot into low recoil slugs for target purposes.

$30 for 100 birdshot shells turned into slugs, with just $50 invested in casting equipment.

30 cents a slug!!!!!!!!!!!

Then I've got all the hulls I can reload completely afterwards and save even more.

If you want to shoot a LOT and spend very little you have to put a bit of time and effort into it.

Grove,

Would you mind sharing some of what you have for reloading? I have never really looked into it but that sounds rather appealing.

Thanks!

m.

Shotgun: target loads( I dont shoot much shotgun though)
Sold my pistol so cant say for 9mm anymore but I used whatever was cheap
223rem: I use my reloads they are ~$6 for 20 rounds. Its also the same ammo I hunt with
