PRC in SW Ontario

I’ve been a sport shooter and trainer for a few years now, predominantly focused on shotgun and handgun shooting. I’m looking to get into long range shooting, but even with my connections in the industry haven’t been able to track down much happening in SW Ontario.

I’m looking for clubs/matches/training/etc for long distance (+500 meters) that would ideally be within an hour or two of where I live (Brantford, On)

While not within an hour of Brantford, you should look into the Ontario Rifle Association. Most of the shooting goes on at CFB Borden which is still not that far from you. Everything from short range plinking to 1000 yard shooting. The ORA is a competitive based organization and access to the range is only available on dates that are booked through the base. There is a calendar on the website that states which range and the distance being fired on that day. Range days are not a roll-in, roll-out type of shooting. The days start at 0800 and can run until 4 pm. be prepared to spend the whole day.
