Pre 64 94

Im hoping I can find some help, I have a pre 64 94 thst was my grandfathers and im looking for a weaver base that will mount in the dovetail where the rear sight currently sits. I want to mount a micro red dot without drilling and holes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

look at the Pearsons no drill mount, it works ok for short range work.

Not to hijack this, but you could consider a receiver sight.

My 1950s Model 94 30-30 shoots really well with one.

You can order them from the US, i don't know of anyone in Canada who sells them.

Volquartsen makes these for the 22/45, not sure of its dovetail size but might be worth looking into.
