I have a friend who has 2 model 70's,

1 - 338 Win. Mag.
2 - 375 H&H

Both in great shape we are trying to work out a deal but I'm not clear on value, any input would be appreciated.

Cheers

If they are original, unaltered and unfinished and +90% condition, the 338's are worth 1500+ and the 375's are worth north of 2000.

Anything like shortened barrels, recoil pads added, etc, the prices drop fast.

Good tip however the 338 never came in a Supergrade. The caliber was made late in the pre 64 developement. Winchester called the 338WM standard "Alaskan" and would be refered to as such.

Thank you wise Sir!

I think the 375 is only worth about $500. Tell him he better sell it to me very quickly, before it is not worth anything :p :D
