Pre 81 BLR jamming

So i took my rifle to the gunsmith to fix the magazine as it would not stay locked in the rifle. He informed me ots fixed but now the gun jams becausebof to much pressure with bullets in the magazine. When yiu try to load the rifle after putting the magazine in with 2 or 3 bullets it jams, one bullet is ok. He says he doesnt really know why but his guess is i need a new bolt and bolt head. This rifle was made in belgium and he cant find any parts. Anybidea of this is the problem? Or anyone have expierence with this jamming issue?

Take it to A REAL GUNSMITH who knows how to fix blr's.

Sounds like he created a new problem for you?
A new mag wouldn't fix the problem?

These are his exact words:

yes the feeding and holding of the magazine was ok but there seems to be worn out bolt which starts to jam as soon it gets to much pressure from the magazine to the bolt carrier and bolt head.

I'f he damaged the magazine do you think it would cause the jam?

If it didn't jam before and now it does he did something to create the problem, fixing the magazine catch should not cause the rifle to jam. Take it to another smith and see if he can deal with the issue.
