I've just purchased an Armalite LEC15A4CB and not shot it yet. I feel that the accuracy should be sufficient for short range 200 mtrs. but would like to have a spare upper for Long Range precision target shooting to 600 to 800mtrs. Weight will not be a factor as most shooting will be done from the bench so a 24" or 20" barrel will work. I've been looking RRA and Armalite varmit uppers as well as the Dlask. Accuracy is the game !:pirate:
Would appreciate hearing comments as to what is good and what is not. Preferably from owners of the previously mentioned brands.

if you are going for 600m+ i'd pick a bolt gun. the AR is fine, but by the time you get the thing to shoot that good, you'd be better off with a non restricted bolt gun that will run you less to build.

I already have a BA 1-7" twist 223 that shoots 80gr Sierra MKs @ 2900fps that reaches out to a 1000 yds. without too much problem. I'm interested in a SA that will reach 800 mtrs in 223 Rem. Not another bolt gun!

I'm currently in the final stages of building my SPR clone. Since its not finished I can't comment on the accuracy but here it goes.

- 18" SPR Contour White Oak Armament Barrel 1/7 Midlength Gas System with matched CMT Bolt
- Larue Fitted Gas Block
- Viltor MUR Upper with forward assist
- Smith Enterprises Chrome AR15 Carrier
- Daniel Defence 13.5" Free Float Rail
- Vortex Flash Hider
- Stag Lower with Geissele Match Trigger
- Front and Rear Troy Sights
- Leupold Mark Mark 4 3-9X36 in LaRue SPR Mount

I plan to shoot 77 grain Sierra Match King Bullets.
