The first ORA Precision shoot is currently scheduled for May 5th at Mons Range in Borden. The shoot will be conducted with a clinic/practice format to insure that the new shooters are properly introduced to the discipline and the veterans can fine tune their equipment and skills for the new season. Plan on shooting from 200 to 800 yards and bring a minimum of 75 rounds as I plan to get as much shooting in as possible. There is NO FEE for ORA members for this one, guests will be charged the usual $45.00 activity fee BRING YOUR PAL. Please also bring your lunch and refreshments to eliminate any delays. Plan on meeting at the Butts for 7:30am sharp to complete administration, target assignments etc and help up with the setup. Let me know if you plan to attend so I can have the appropriate number of targets prepared and if you will need a club gun and ammunition.

Look forward to seeing you there,

I was planning on being there - gun and scope are all ready, ammo is ready BUT I have had something come up that I need to take care of so I wont be there

Back home now. What a well run practice, I mean in the sense that many new people were experiencing success at this game. What a great time. Over 40 people on the range during the range safety briefing. Thanks to RP and all you supportive people the processed many people through the morning registration. The newcomers managed to get sorted out fairly quickly.

Gotta leave now and hit the showers. I'm beat. Lots of laughs, too with familiar faces from the CQB shooters...many of whom passed on the CQB match at Langemark and opened up spaces for some newer CQB shooters on the standby list; Timk tells me.
