The course will cover:
Rifle check and set up
Theory - Rifle Marksmanship principles (Holding/Aiming/Firing/Follow through)
Theory - Natural Point of Aim, Target focus, consistant cheek weld, breathing cycle, trigger control
Theory - use of Optics including how to adjust for windage/elevation, care and maintenance of optics
Theory - Clean Cold Barrel
Theory - ballistics internal/external
Confirm Zero on the range
Scope Drill to test for properly addjusted scope/mounts
Grouping analysis and coaching
Poistional shooting - Prone, kneeling, seated, Hawkins, roll over prone
Stress test - rapid bolt manipulation, moving targets, limited exposure targets, coordinated shooting
Scope manipulation drills - distance/wind/mirage
The course is designed to take the average shooter and prepare them for distance shooting such as the BC Tactical Rifle match in AUG or any distance shooting events that the shooter participates in.
Cost: 250.00 total+25.00 range fee
Round Count 150-200 RDS.
shooters will require 1x precision rifle with a reliable/tested optic.
