I own a Savage 111 long range hunter in .338 Lapua and am thinking about changing from the standard stock to a precision folding stock. I’m wondering if anyone has one or knows where I can find a dealer who makes/sells them. Preferably in Canada

I’m trying to get some helpful replies if your not going to answer my question that’s fine, just feel free not to post anything

I have the right to express my opinion. If you don’t like people to comment on your post just feel free to keep it to yourself.
By the way, not to spend more money on a savage is a helpful reply from my point of view. Just because you don’t like other’s comments doesn’t mean those comments are not helpful

A precision folding chassis will probably cost close to $2K all in. A lighter one may cost more. Lace out the folder part and buy an Oryx chassis. More like $700.

sounds like a bitter dude that spent 8 grand on a custom rifle thinking it would make the shooter and then got his ass handed to him in a sling by a guy down the line shooting a hot rodded savage rifle

why are so many big names using a floating bolt head now? why are barrel nuts so popular? why so many copies of the accu-trigger? if you can't beat them......join them.....

as with any firearm accessories and custom rifles, parts are worth more when sold as stand alone items, so there is no fear in never getting your money back, figure out who has the options you want in a chassis and buy what works for you, you'll never lose when a purchase makes you happy, screw the other guys

I can say the same thing for a watch. A $20 Casio digital watch is more accurate than a $100K Patek.

MDT has some solid offerings, your other options would be manners or McMillan. Depending what you want. I used to have chassis guns and now I'm back to stocks, why? the cold and metal suck together lol

It all depends on what you want to do, but MDT has the ACC, HNT26, and ESS for a Savage long action 3.850", which is what you will want, and all three can be folded. If you want to go light, the HNT26 is going to be your best friend; it is scary light.
