Precision rimfire rifle choice

Jerry, you should be up in our part of the country.
We have 4 feet of snow, and nighttime temps at
-15ºC or cooler. Not great precision shooting weather.

I stand by my claim of 3 very very good ragged hole 10 shot groups from the RPR 22 last fall at 100 yards. CCI SV.

Shot about 15 ten shot groups yesterday in pretty good conditions finally. I can not come close to replicating those results. The groups average about 1.7". Best group is 1.5". Worst is about 2.2".

I can see why I took so much flack from everyone. It must have just been just pure BS luck. I never thought much of it at the time. But now see that I had one massive horse shoe up my ass sideways that day for whatever reason.

I never thought much of it at the time because I larger rifles that are able to do that every day. I was suprised a 22 could do the same but had no problem making the claim.

But after yesterday I see that yeah, that was the luckiest 30 shots I will ever shoot in my life.

Sorry for the claim. It did happen. But it was one in a million and not repeatable in the least. It really was like winning the lottery odds.
