Hey Gang,

we are starting to do a preorder on the new WK181

a couple years back there was wk 181 prototype shown around but it didn't see mass production

this in what you've been waiting for

based on the 556 wk180-c gen 2
you get the lighter, narrower lower that takes standsard ar15 parts kits
external bolt catch
ambi safety etc
most importantly, the lower is cut for ak mags
standard ar buffer tube, stock, grips (including beavertail grips)

the upper is similar to the 556 gen 2 with the non-recip charging handle

Sweet! The Serbs have a new rifle that can quick switch between 7.62x39 and Grendel. Kodiak should make a run of these in Grendel!

Do these take LAR 10 round mags
 
Always cool to get new guns in x39 and especially ones that use AK mags, but doesnt that lip on both sides of the rear of the magwell prohibit use of drums or quadstacks?
Most AK mag AR lowers have a flat edge front to back for the magwell very close to the upper
 
Will TNA sell a premium version with the adjustable gas valve, the gas block fasteners high temp thread locked and peened, and a nice Triggertech trigger pre-installed?
 
I think it looks cool and everything - but am not sure about the reliability as it seems alot of the rifles have some weird issues and little problems.

I dont want to drop all that cash on something that isnt 100% functional.

I miss the VZ58..
 
You should have a buy one get a type 81 free. That way when this one breaks and fails to feed/fire/eject (and it will, in short time) people will still have a rifle that works. My 2 cents.
 
Another mag question would be do Type81 mags work?

In a market flooded with them and if only a small modification was needed, this would be an ideal option.

should work in it, the type 81 mags are just modified AK magazines, i got modded magpul AK mags running in my type 81
