Ok still a little new to this but a turret press is like multiple single stage presses. you mount all you dies in diffrent spot and turn the head to the one you want. one round at a time. the progresive you put the shell in the first spot and run ram once turn plate, add another shell, run ram......

The turret rotates the tool head so every stroke perfoms one function. 3 or 4 strokes and a completed cartridge comes out. The progressive rotates a shell plate. when it gets going, every stroke completes one cartidge.
To learn on, a single stage is good. The turret is good for faster runs and can accomodate large rifle cartridges. The progressives are the most complicated and expensive but the fastest. Check out the sticky in the Reloading forum for a comparison of the progressives.

Are you going to reload a lot of rounds? Get a progressive hands down.
I it doesn't have a case feeder, add one later and then grab those nice cheap hornady bullet feeder dies. They allow you to fill a tube by hand for bullet feeding and make life that much more enjoyable without your fingers getting smashed on the upstroke and let your concentration on focused on the cases and powder.

if you must go lee- get the LOADMASTER, not the 1000- until they get the KNOWN problems with the priming system fixed, i'd avoid that thing if i were you-the 1000 powders/primes and flares all on the same station, which can leave a real mess when it hangs up- notice i said WHEN , not if- the loadmaster primes and powders/flares on 2 different stations- i've got 3 1000 and one loadmaster, and it's the loadmaster that gets used
