Pressure Switch Cable Issue

I received a flashlight w/pressure switch in the mail today. I had planned on mounting it to my CX4. My only problem is that the cable is too long (probably about 50 or 6" too long). I tried mounting the flashlight mount as forward as possible on the side rail, plus sliding the flashlight as forward as possible in the holder. This extended the reach by about another inch or so but the cable is still too long. I was wanting to mount the pressure switch either on the side of the gun right near the flashlight, or on the side of the grip. Any ideas?

You could coil the cable around a pencil, or something thinner. It should hold shape.

If it's already coiled, you might have to cut and re-solder.

Get a shorter switch set or modify the existing cable. Or you can wrap a double-sided Velcro strap around the front of the gun to hold the wire from dangling around. Not sure if you run the rifle with a forward vertical grip, but if you do, you can try wrapping the cable behind the top of the grip at the picatinny rail...
