My wife surprised me with an out of the blue gift yesterday...and it's the Pretty Boy/Pretty Girl turkey decoy set from CarryLite. I haven't seen this set around before. Are they relatively new? Has anyone hunted with them?

all these tom turkey decoys out these days...WOW...a good way to get shot! Personally I'd never stick one into the ground around me. One single hen out in the feild works well enough. I saw them today and although the colouring is good it is still a breeding pair and dangerous in my opinion.

I wish we had lots of turkeys here. It's too bad I left the Kootenay's just before spring turkey last year.

It sounds like an enjoyable hunt for sure. How many are you allowed to take?

Two in a season...not on the same day. And, we have to still take them to a 'check-station' here in Ontario within 24 hours of harvesting.

or so we have been told;)

Well...I follow the laws in order to enjoy more hunts in future just by chance that I'm caught breaking them and lose that opportunity...and more.

when i said that..i was being sarcastic...you know with all the other rule and regulation,s we have to abide by...just look at what it takes to get any tag just to hunt...now look further to see what you need to own a gun..
so im told= means all the bull #### as to so im told i have to do  to own a gun.. not to mention what is to be taken to hunt the game..

Okay. Let's just say I wouldn't do it. Not under any circumstance.

The pretty boy and pretty girl decoys just came into the store here... they are amazing, the Toms tail is an actual Photograph and is very realistic! You can also set them up Breeding.. and the Toms tail is replacable with your own tail fan if you have one!
I dropped a hundred bucks on a pair as soon as I saw them. I only have about two dozen decoys... now what is a couple more?
