As the title says, I am pretty impressed with my Lee Perfect Powder Measure. When I first started reloading for pistol I never really had faith that it could throw consistent charges, especially when I saw just how small a charge of 3.3 grains of Bullseye is. Recently I bought a Gempro 250 and I'm now able to accurately gauge how I've been doing all these years.
Throwing loads of 4.7 grains of Bullseye I measured 10 different charges and got:
4.74
4.78
4.78
4.76
4.76
4.76
4.78
4.74
4.76
4.78
I did measure 1 more load at the end and it gave me a 4.78 grain reading.
I should mention that whenever I use this measure with light powders like Bullseye, Trailboss or Unique I move the handle into the fill position and give the measure two firm taps with my finger, then when I dump the charge into my case, I give the measure two taps again.
I will test other powders as I use them but so far I think it passed the Bullseye test fairly well with a 0.04 grain variance over 10 loads.
