So I have a chance to buy these guns brand new at an unheard of price I would use it for some clays and some hunting. What's people's thoughts on these guns, the prevail has kickoff. Both have really nice wood.

If you like the Kick-Off then the Prevail is the choice but it helps to have shot the Kick-Off before you buy one. People either love them or hate them.

The Prevail is Beretta's improvement on their 680 series guns and has some interesting features. Between those two guns I'd be strongly leaning toward the Prevail.

kick off reduces felt recoil on shoulder, more of a longer drawn out push, than a sharp recoil. However it will increase gun movement on the cheek, some finds this distracting. Like was said you either love them, or hate them.

I've had both 687 and 682 gold e. Now have a SV10 Prevail III w/o kick off since 2013. The SV feels a lot lighter and more lively when shooting SC. I wouldn't go back to my old 682 much less the 687. Both 682 & SV10 have 32" tubes.

Hated the K/O, had a A400 Xcel with it, sold it fast.
