Price check - 1915 Erfurt Luger

Ahoy, folks.

Dad has a shot (no pun intended) at a 1915 production Erfurt Luger in c. 95% condition, all numbers matching. It's a 4" pistol, so prohib, natch.

Rough ideas regarding value are appreciated. We want to make the fellow a fair offer.

If the mag matches the pistols that may demand a premium, I don't think you should offer more than between $600 - $800 based on the info you provided. I would have to see it to decide personally.

An imperial Luger in 95% condition is already a great find. If you can afford it, buy it. I would suggest you to take some pics, if possible, and send them to http://luger. gunboards.com/.
There are very knowledgeable people on that board. Ask Mr. Ian Stills, he's a very friendly guy, author of several history books on German Army Corps and the creator of LugerForums. Some time ago, he sent me very valuable info on a particular 1917 Erfurt I had bought.
