Have a pile of 45-70 Gov't brass that I would like to get rid of. I do not have a rifle chambered in that calibre.
Wanting to know what its worth. I have removed all primers from the brass, is that worth anything?

What's it worth per single piece in each brand?
Also, where can I find info on the price of brass, like a website or some other source.

For that matter, by posting the quantities that you have, you are soliciting for offers....

Is there a price check forum on here? I was unaware. I was looking to be pointed in the right direction to find out what I was looking for unless someone knew. Also, I wasn't trying to solicite so I will edit this without the quantities of each.

Don't sweat it, threads checking prices for guns, gear, brass and ammo are pretty common on CGN. I actually clicked on this hoping to find an answer to the same question, I've got a considerable amount of 45/70 brass to sell too, and I haven't had much luck on finding a price either. All I found was new brass prices.
 
The last Winchester I bought was $38.99 for 50 pieces new in the bag. Issue with buying once fired brass is how do you know if it's actually once fired? Not saying that it isn't but I find myself wondering that every time I see those adds. Maybe I've lost faith in humanity I don't know.
I'd pay 40 cents a piece for ww brass once fired. Unless someone loads the flex tip Hornady bullets the Hornady brass is worthless

I bought a bunch of 45-70 supplies off EE and included in the lot was a BNIB 100 unfired Starline brass that work out to be .50 cents each and used brass ( Remington and Winchester) that I can still use for about .25 cents each.

Brand new Starline brass is around .90 cents each.

But as mentioned it's what someone is willing to pay and how desperate you are for the cash and how quick you want to unload the brass.

There is no shortage of 45-70 brass. I started my supply with Remington factory rounds and anneal the brass after four reloads to extend the life of the brass

I'd say for Rem and Win around the .50 cent mark and you should have no problem getting rid of them.
 
Hornady brass isn't worth taking a chance on, because it's almost guaranteed to be the short case Superformance stuff. If you hunt around, there are deals to be had on new Starline and Winchester brass, so I mostly pass on unknown range pick up being sold as once fired, unless the price is very right or I'm doing a face to face deal with a guy I know and trust. My max is $0.30-$0.40 per piece of legit, 1X, cleaned and processed brass. Otherwise, I'd prefer to pay a little more and buy new.

Max I'd pay for allegedly 1X fired brass is 35% of the price of brand new starline, unless I'm absolutely 100% positive that it's 1X fired. That usually means I know personnally the seller. Then I'll up to 50 or 60%, maybe even 70%, depending on what that brass is.

I've seen lots of adds on the EE asking for insane prices on brass. Some people asking more for 1X fired than what new brass cost. So, try your luck, you might find someone uninformed who doesn't know he can just buy it new for 70¢.
