What would a 453 varmint in 22lr be worth?
The Blueing is pretty good, the walnut has some tiger striping but a few little marks in it. 1x 5rnd poly mag and 1x 10rnd poly mag.
An old guy offered me one, and told me to sell it if I didn't want it

I agree with the above statement...
They dont make them anymore and they do have the set trigger too.
Guys in the know know and buy them, but condition is everything.
I bought mine for about $600 and came with loads of ammo and other goodies, but that was a buddy buddy deal and he has first dibs on if/when I decide to sell.
They shoot tight groups too.

The key differences between the CZ 453 Varmint and the CZ 452 Varmint are the single set trigger and the location of the action screws.

The CZ 453 models' SST has the advantage of having in the same trigger both a field weight trigger pull and a lighter target shooting trigger pull. Unlike the CZ 452 Varmint which has one action screw in front of the trigger and another further forward with a barrel lug, all CZ 453 models have the front action screw ahead of the trigger and the rear action screw attaching to the trigger housing itself. The barrels on the 453 models are no more or less accurate than on models without the single set trigger.

Actually grauhanen I have never met a cz 452/3/5/7 etc that never shot well.
Considering the money one spends for a out of the box cz with many types of ammo they are All good shooters .
Value for the $$ these rifles are a good deal.
