Price Check for Savage?

My bro asked me to post and ask for the value of this rifle which he is planning to sell. Savage Model 340 Series E in 222 Remington with Tasco 3x9 variable scope. The bore is in good condition, surprise. The mag is missing. Jack Russel not for sale.

I am not 100%,but I have seen others going for anywhere in the $150 to $350 range here on this site at times...maybe a 222 is a bit rarer and would bring more cash,I don't really know....the fact that it is missing the mag doesn't help value much either....just my thoughts,no insult intended
