Price Check - KAC M5 RAS with all panels and VFG

Guys,

Came into possession of a genuine (not airsoft ;)) KAC M5 (Rifle length) RAS system including the roll-up pouch and a full set of panels (I think 4 -11 rib and bunch of the smaller ones). Also includes a KAC VFG.

Any idea on it's value? I haven't seen any of these come up in the EE for a while, and I want to sell it for a fair price. I was thinking about keeping it for a M16A4 clone build, but I can't justify another $1000+ upper at this point.

Would I be better off selling it off separately, or as the whole kit?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

$300-$350.00 depending on condition, less if used or mounted at all.
 
It is unmounted and unused. New in Box.

I would have thought a little more than $350. I just checked a bunch of US sites and the rail with 3 - 11 rib panels is going for $360-$375 US. Add more panels and the VFG, and you're looking at more like $450 USD no?

Granted, demand is probably a little higher in the US... :)
 
Do they carry other KAC stuff as well. I've been there many times and never saw any...or on there website. I'm sure alot of people would like to know what KAC products can be sourced.
 
We received these in trade, we do not stock Knight's as a matter of course. Some may remember that last yeat we had a fair number of carbine RAS here too.

Dont sell it and build a USMC type M16A4 with ACOG ... you'll be happy you did!!!

Haha that's kinda what I'm thinking... I already have the ACOG sitting on my 14.5" one, but might switch to a T-1 on it and move the ACOG to the 20" one. :)

Our retail for the M5 RAS with 3 11 rib panels is 390.58 USD

We do not sell the Roll kit commercially -- R. Nicholls has let some out, but they are a government sale only item. As a result I cannot publish the recommended price for that.

However I will say that $500 for that is a fair price for NIB.

Yep that is retail but seeing as 90% of KAC items sold in Canada are agency "trade ins":nest:.... a bit more than half that is acceptable.
