I find myself the middle man in a deal for a Marlin 336 .30-30 that was made in 1968. Someone I know wants to sell it and someone I know is looking for one, and both ask me what's it worth.
It has a little bit of surface rust in the odd spot, but it cleaned up okay. Rifling is good, bore shines. The finish on the stock is dull, but the are no nicks or dents other then a chip in the forarm just before the barrel band.
I was looking in the exchange, $350 seems to be the going rate.
Looking for opinions!
