Hi everyone I do not know a lot about shotguns. My neighbor had me over today to have a look a some rifles and shotguns he is going to sell, he just wanted a ball park number.

First up: Remmington mod 1100 mag (3") in good condition not VG. value?
Second: Older Cooey 840, 3" in fair-good condition. Value?

What gauge, choking, condition of wood, condition of metal and bluing, action, etc. Pics are best. Your descriptions are just way too vague.

The condition of the firearms was stated fair -to good as for the rest it really will make no difference price wise the age of these guns puts them in a category that is limited against what can be bought for the same dollar value on today's new market they are not collectors pcs.just plain utility guns. As stated the only price fluctuation will be vent rib or non vent rib
