Price check on 22WMR

paid a box of 50 CCI maxi-mag HP $16.92 I can buy a box of 9mm for that price, or did I get jibbed?

That is a buck or two more than I paid last year, but not really out of reason.

I bought the CHEAP winchester Dyna points for 9.99 a box. These are a copper "washed" cast bullet and no where near as consistent as the "premium" stuff you bought.

The JHP that Crappy Tire carries typically costs more than the FMJ/TMJ stuff sold at other shops. I was at Bass Pro the ther day and they actually had both FMJ and JHP. FMJ: $12.99. JHP: $14.99.

About 2 months ago I was picking up Maxi-mag for $9.60 something at the Lebarons in Ottawa. Since then it has gone up a dollar or so. I picked up 8 boxes..

Around here, a car load of folks , 200 mile radius , with a bit of online checking prior to, makes for a fun day . And you save money, you get the stuff thats hard to ship, powder, primers, and any deals on ammo , guns...

well I got the following and with the way things are around here i'm lucky at times to find it at all. So I buy often when at CTC or Walmart getting other crap.

winchester dyna points $10 or so walmart
winchester super X $12 or so walmart > another gun store in town is selling this for $17 a box and it's the only 22mag ammo they got...no 17hmr in stock either.

federal game shok and champion $15 local gun store
federal premium $18 same store /got one box to try

CCI maxi mag $15 Canadian Tire

Having same problems with 17 hmr too very little around and when i do find it, it's one brand CTC has federal premium v shok around $15 or so so i buy all i see when i go to these places.

Crazy what little is around and the price increases just over one summer!

I thought about ordering large load from SIR or lebarons because some of the savings are as much as $5 per box on some stuff but like someone else said they are always backordered on the s**t so whats the point!

I got to take what i can get where i can get it!
