I was just wondering about what a fair price for a s&w 357 model 66 with a 6" barrel would be worth it is good condition and has after market grips with it as well as the wood ones.it also has target sights and the stock ones.please reply asap because I might buy this gun tomarrow.he want $300 sound like a good deal

A couple of months ago, I bought a 4" Model 66-1 for $400 (taxes and delivery not included). It appeared to have been little used - although there were a few scuffs and light scratches here and there. Only one cylinder showed that discolouration around the front of the chamber face that comes from firing a round. It had an aftermarket rubber grip and S&W target sights - no extra parts, no box. I was happy with the deal. $300 seems like a good price, indeed, for your find - especially since it is not a 12(6) prohib.
