Price check on .36 New Model Navy Revolver

So this is technically blackpowder, but there was basically no responce in the B&P forum, so I thought I'd see what the revolver heads here would come up with.

It's a Euroarms Brescia remake of the New Model Navy cap and ball revolver. Purchased new in the '70's it's in great conditon. Many markings, 95% bluing if not more, anyone know what it's worth??? (link below pic for more pics)

Looks like a nice piece, should be a good shooter. Don't know that a Euroarms repro has any intrinsic qualities that would make it any more desirable than any other decent quality revolver. Obviously it is worth what you paid for it, to you. What do nice used repros generally sell for? $200 - $300? 75% of a comparable new one?

Yah - apparently the holsters go for about $50 or more.. and this one is in great condition . I've been looking around on the net, and I haven't found much. Of the three I have found of this make and model, one with no bluing left was at $250 american, one at $359 american, and the other was spf . I like it, but I just decided to get into reloading, so setting up in blackpowder won't be happening for a long time yet.

You really don't need a lot of equipment to shoot it. Balls or bullets, grease or wads, powder, caps. Powder container, measure. If you don't want to cast your own, you should be able to buy round balls. Nipple wrench, cleaning equipment. No reason not to give it a go.

Looks like a Remington repro...solid top strap. Coincidentally enough, I just sold a SAECO mould that cast .36cal round balls for these pistols. Used to use it in my 1861 Navy Colt. Most of thes repros generally sell in the $200-$250 range. I wouldn't go over that!
