They retail brand new, with the regular matte finish, for $1845 at Wild West in Edmonton.
If it is a Mark XIX in excellent condition, I would say it is worth $1475
If it is a Mark VII in very good condition, I would say $1200.
It's good to get a sense of current retail values. Some people have overpaid for their new DE's, and I find they are consequently a little unrealistic in what they expect to pull for a used value.

If your deal doesn't fall through, I have one for sale. It is the latest generation Mark XIX which means all you need is the 50AE barrel and a mag and you can change calibers. I've put maybe 150-200 rounds through her, to figure out that my hands are too small.
