Price Check on a Browning Trap XT

Just wondering what these are going for used in good condition. A couple small scratches on the stock.

A Browning Citori XT Trap is a three thousand dollar gun to start with, but there are always options, special editions, high-grade wood, custom work, fancy case… it could be anything. Pictures really do help.

The descriptor ‘good condition’ doesn't say much. If you look it up in the blue book, ‘Good’ is pretty low on the scale of condition; a ‘Good’ shotgun will have a lot of finish worn off. You probably don't mean that, but some guy could have sent fifty thousand rounds through her practising getting good at trap.

People don't like scratches on the stock. Fix 'em. (Not by slappin' on some varnish from yer garage.)

I'll take a stab: $2k.

32" barrels, with all the chokes.

You've got all the chokes? Well chit, I gotta go check my cases.

I'll get some pictures. I think it's all the chokes it cane with 5. It's the non adjustable stock one. I'll post a pic when I'm off work. Thanks for your reply though I didn't know there was that many factors haha

I realize this is an old thread but I'm looking at buying a used XT here too. Its a few years old. Not the blued receiver. Standard monte carlo stock. Had a chance to shoot it last night and shot 25 straight with it. I'm a total rookie when it comes to Over unders but it seemed to be in good condition. It wasn't overly stiff opening or closing the action, but still snug and definitely not loose. It locked up and didn't move at all once it was. I've shot with the owner of this gun for a few years and he takes great care of it. He's just looking to upgrade since he's a left handed shooter and this one has the right handed palm swell. He's asking $2200 for the gun and 2500 with the Browning case.

Decent deal? should I jump on it?
