Friend of mine had a WW2 Garand that was correct and he new it because it was given to him by his dad's uncle who liberated it when he returned from Europe in the spring of '46. It was never shot other than at the range a couple of times and never in Europe so you can imagine that everything was as if it was in a 60 year sealed container and then brought out of storage. He posted it on a couple of sites in the US and he actually had an offer of 3200.00 American for it and the last I heard he had a break in at his home. So not sure what happened but 3 grand for a correct WW2 battle rifle is about correct.
